Our Story
Daniel McGeorge
Head Chef and Co-Owner Daniel McGeorge has a long history of award-winning achievements, and a tenure in the luxe hotel dining world in the Lake District. After winning The Great British Menu in 2021 and Craft Guild of Chefs Restaurant Chef Award in 2022, Daniel is now back home in Liverpool, and has opened the doors to Vetch. It's here that he wishes to expand on his creativity, and to provide cuisine of his own vision, passion and volition.
When he's not whipping up a tasty menu in the Vetch kitchen, he's foraging for wild ingredients, scouring the globe for new cuisine inspiration, and spending quality time with his family.
Georgia Goodman
General Manager and Co-Owner Georgia "GeeGee" Goodman has been in hospitality since she was a teenager, and has a plethora of experience in working to provide the best customer service in a myriad of hospitality-centric industries, from hoteliering and hosting to the ins-and-outs of the food service industry.
She now runs the front of house experience at Vetch, and plenty of the behind-the-scenes affairs - as well as ensuring our wine list is kept up to her high standards.
